St. John’s is assisting the great work of the Byron Sanders foundation yet, another year. For over ten years St. John’s has purchased fresh potatoes with the donations of our parishioners. This year we have been asked to collect Gift Cards in $20.00 denominations. In this way the families will receive fresh food and a $20.00 gift card for the extras. The stores with the best pricing are Aldi’s and Kroger’s, we encourage cards from these stores, or a 20.00 bill in a marked envelope will also work and the committee will purchase the gift cards. Let’s assist Brian Wollenburg as he enters year 27 of contributing to Thanksgiving for Central Ohio families in need. Please drop the gift card in the collection basket or give to Landa Masdea Brunetto after Mass. The last day for donations is Sunday, November 10th.
